GoDaddy has three options under the email banner, and each has different settings:

  • Workspace email, which has changed and runs on GoDaddy’s own servers.

  • Professional email, which is used currently for a GoDaddy-hosted mailbox.

  • Microsoft 365 is also a Microsoft-hosted mailbox that GoDaddy resells.

You can easily check which email you’re using by signing in at godaddy.com. Then, go to My Products and check the Email & Office section. It will say which one you’re using.

Steps to set up Microsoft 365 from GoDaddy on iPhone

  • Go to Settings > Apps > Mail > Mail Accounts > Add Account on Microsoft 365.

  • Tap on Microsoft Exchange, enter your Microsoft 365 email address, and tap Next.

  • Tap Sign In and then Continue when your settings ask for permission.

  • Select “Work” or “School” when it asks you between work and personal. This is because GoDaddy hosts 365 mailboxes, which are organizational, not personal Outlook.com.

  • Enter your password and sign in, then verify your identity with a one-time code.

  • Tap Accept to allow mail to access, and then tap Save.

Steps to set up Professional Email or Workspace email on iPhone

  • Go to Settings > Apps > Mail > Mail Accounts > Add Account.

  • Type your email address and tap Next.

  • If your account doesn’t auto-detect, tap Add Other Account, and then Mail Account.

  • Enter your full name, email address, and a short description, and tap Next.

  • Select IMAP instead of POP3, and under incoming mail server, enter the hostname as imap.secureserver.net.
