How to Add BTinternet Email to Outlook 365?

If you manage your BTinternet email and Outlook 365 separately, it can be difficult to manage them both. While using it regularly, you have to switch between both accounts, fetch the emails, and send/receive emails, which can be hectic and time-consuming. In this case, merging the BTinternet and Outlook 365 can be helpful in syncing both emails and managing them in one place. Follow the given procedure and do it easily.

• Go to Outlook, and go to the File section, click on the Account Settings drop-down option, and then choose Account Settings.

• Then, select the New option in the Account Settings window.

• In the email section, type the BT Mail address.

• Select Advanced Options, see the “Let me set up my account manually” option, and then choose the Connect button.

• Go to IMAP and enter mail.btinternet.com in the Incoming Mail Server field.

• For the Port set 993 and then select SSL/TLS as the Encryption Method.

• Now, type your mail.btinternet.com in the Outgoing Mail Server section.

• Plus, set the Port to 465 and choose SSL/TLS as the Encryption Method.

• Type your BT Mail password, and then select Connect.

• Once the “Account Successfully Added” screen appears, choose “Done.”

  
  

Once the above process is complete, send a test mail, enable 2-factor authentication, check folder sync, and set BTinternet as the default account.
