Forward Yahoo Mail to Gmail

Managing two different email accounts could be challenging as it becomes difficult to find specific emails, have to juggle between inboxes while sending/receiving emails, miss important follow-ups sometimes, etc. In this situation, isn’t it better to use both of your email accounts in one place? To help you out, the follow-up content shares the instructions to forward your Yahoo Mail to Gmail.

  • Go to your Yahoo Mail on your PC.

  • Select the Gear icon from the top-right side of the screen.

  • From the drop-down, choose Settings, and then the settings window will show up.

  • In the open window, choose the Settings option.

  • Choose the Yahoo account that you want to forward over to Gmail.

  • Now, go down to the bottom of the window and select the box “Forward: Your mail is forwarded to the specified address so you can check it here.”

  • In the box of Forwarding Address, enter your email address that you want to forward, then click on Verify.

  • On your Gmail account, you will receive a verification email.

  • Go to Gmail, navigate to the Inbox, and click on the verification email from Yahoo.

  • Now, choose the click here” hypertext.

  • Next, type your Yahoo Mail password, and select Sign in.

  • Select the Verify button.

  • Once it's verified, head back to the Yahoo Mail Settings page, and you should choose either the “store and forward” or “store and forward and mark as read” option.

  • Then, choose the Save button.

  • Next, select Settings from the top-right side.

  • In the Account and Import tab, select Add a Mail account.

  • Enter the email address in the given field. In this case, you have to enter your Yahoo email address.

  • Choose the “Link accounts with Gmailify” radio button.

  • Follow the further steps and the process will be complete, and you can manage your emails in one place.
