Solution 1: Change the Password


  . Initially, launch your web browser and visit the official AOL website.

  . Then you should sign in to your AOL account.

  . After that, tap on the Mail option in the left menu.

  . Head to the top right of the window and click on Options next to your account name.

  . Choose Account Info and go to Account Security. 

  . Now, under the Account Security, click Change Password right beside How You Sign In.

  . Make a new password for your AOL account and click Continue.

  . When you’ve successfully created the password, click Continue. 


Solution 2: Enable Two-Factor Authentication 


  . Go to your web browser on your device and visit the official AOL website.

  . Then you need to select your account on the top right side of the screen or the right menu panel.

  . Choose Account Security, scroll down, and turn on Two-step Verification.

  . Type your phone number and select Send SMS or Call Me.

  . When you select Send SMS, enter the verification code and choose Verify. 

  . Now, the two-step verification process is complete.


Solution 3: Check the Account Settings


  . Launch an internet browser and visit the official AOL website. 

  . Then, sign in to your account.

  . Now, head to the top right of the window and click on Options next to your account name.

  . Choose Mail Settings, check all the settings, and revert to any changes that may have been set up without your knowledge.
