Getting the email account hacked is a daunting situation as it leaves our valuable information at risk. Due to weak security or malicious cyber attacks, there are many instances when your Webmail account could be hacked. Try to change the account password is one of the first and crucial steps to save your Webmail account from being compromised. Here is how you can do it.

. Try to sign into your Webmail account if you still have access.

. When the account sign-in process is complete, click on the profile icon on the top right side of the display.

. After that, choose the Password & Security option; it will open the security interface of your device.

. Create a new password and make sure it is hard to break.

. In addition, you can choose the password generator to create a strong password for you.

. For that step, click on the Generate Password option, and it will give you the various options.

. Moreover, move to the Advanced Options for more options.

. When you are satisfied with your password, choose the "I have copied the password in a safe place" checkbox.

. Select Use Password, then click Save, and a confirmation notification will come up on the screen.

. Try to reset the account if you are unable to access the account.

. To do so, navigate to the Webmail login page.

. Then, you are required to select Reset Password, type your Webmail ID, and click Reset Password.

. Now, enter a contact email address, then choose Send Security Code.

If these methods are unable to retrieve your account, then it is difficult to get back your Webmail account. In this case, the best way is to seek more help or connect with the brand's customer care to get prompt help.
