How to do Comcast Xfinity Email Server Settings?

Xfinity is among the well-known names for providing top-notch emailing services. Anyone can easily complete the Xfinity email server settings and start using it. Below are the steps you need to follow to learn the whole setup procedure on Apple Mail.


. First and foremost, navigate to Mail on your Apple device.

. From the top left side of the screen, select Mail and then click on Add Account.

. Next, select the option Other Mail Account and then click on the Continue button.

. Now, in the name field, type the name you want to appear.

. After that, type in the correct Xfinity email address and password then choose the Sign-in option.

. If you are told that it is unable to verify your Apple name and password, then you need to fill out the form to configure it manually.

. On the next screen, the email address and password should be populated. Enter a username and set the Account Type to IMAP.

. Next, in the incoming and outgoing mail server fields, fill in mail.comcast.net and smtp.comcast.net, respectively.

. After that, choose the option Sign-in, then Mail, and then click on the Done button.

. Once the sign-in process is complete, head to the upper left side of the screen and select the Mail option.

. Next, from the open option, click on Preferences, then choose your Xfinity mail from the Accounts section.

. Furthermore, you are required to move to the Server Settings tab and then uncheck the ‘Automatically Manage Connection Settings’ option for both Incoming and Outgoing Mail Servers.

. In the next step, set the incoming port options to 993 and the outgoing port to 465, respectively.

. Then, ensure that the Use SSL/TLS checkboxes are selected, then click on the Save button.

. Here you go, the Comcast mail server settings on the Apple mail.
