On Outlook
First, access your Outlook account and go to the Outlook Account Information page.
After that, click on the button 'Add Account.'
In the open bar, type your BTinternet email.
On the next window, select the IMAP option.
Next, type your email password and then choose Connect.
Then, ensure that the incoming and outgoing email ports are 993 and 465, respectively.
In addition, for the Encryption Method, select the SSL/TLS.
Then, enter your correct password and click on Connect.
Now, the BTinternet IMAP setting on your Outlook account will be complete.
On iCloud
On your Mac device, open the Mail folder from the desktop.
And then, go to the Mail option on the upper bar and select Add Account.
Furthermore, choose the Other Mail Account radio button on the open screen.
Enter your name, type the password, and select the Sign-in option.
Next, for incoming and outgoing mail servers, type mail.btinterent.com.
After that, move to the Mail option again on the top bar and choose Preferences.
Then, from the accounts, choose the BTinternet option.
Henceforth, click on the ‘Automatically Manage Connection Settings’ check on the Server Settings tab.
In addition, for incoming port set 993 and for outgoing port set 465.
Click on the Use TLS/SSL checkbox for both POP and SMTP sections.
