. When you see a prompt on the screen, type your Apple ID password and tap Turn Off.

Method 2: Permanently deleting the iCloud mail account

. On any web browser, you need to go to the privacy.apple.com.

. Once you see the sign-in prompt on the screen, tap Continue with Password.

. Now, type the correct password in the specific field and tap Continue.

. When you are on the new Data and Privacy page, scroll down and Delete your Account section.

. In the next step, choose Request to Delete your Account and go through all the information provided regarding deleting the account.
